i think music is a big influence in how people ride. i like to ski to stuff like swollen members, u god, mission, pharcyde, etc.

music influences me for sure....i don't listen to music while i'm skiing unless no one is there and i don't have anyone to ski with and even then it gets annoying...but i usually listen to music all day because i only watch tv if the simpsons,that 70's show, or a movie is on....i love music, who else does?

yea its hard to ski to music i f you are woht other people. but its ok alone but sometimes its hard to focus on skiing

Hip hop makes you getting a more smooth style for sure. The music is about 75% of the whole skiing, its very important. But i dont listen to metal and that stuff, it doesnt fit my way of expressing myself in skiing.

yea i really can't listen to music when i'm skiing park especially, i either get to into the music and don't pay any attention to my skiing or visa versa

i like whatever music they put in ski movies...it is all good no matter what...all music that is not in a ski movie is absent for a reason...it sucks...i am really underground...like fitty cent.

Like 1080spinna I just can't concentrate on the music and skiing at the same time... Music does help for motivation but once I'm concentrated on the gap I just forget it... or fuck up the jump...

yeah, i dont listen to music while i ski because its just too much to listen to a song u like and concentrate on your next jump. i def believe you can tell what kind of skier sum1 is by the music they listen to. i like the laid back hip hop stuff which is easily seen in my laid back style.

i like listening to songs from a ski movie cuz i have that segment memorized so it gives me more ideas and just think about skiing but other than that i like punk, emo, or ska, im trying to get a g bag or something so i dnt have to use headphones

I don't listen to music because i'm afraid i'm going to break my MiniDisc player. Is there a convienent spot that you put your CD players or stuff in that it wouldn't get damaged too much?

buy an mp3 player and keep it in your opposite hand front pants pocket, itll never get fallen on.

and i only listen to music when im skiing all mountain. i feel like ive got more flow and eveything comes together with the beats and the words and i find myself skiing to the beat of the song most of the time. but if im skiing park i need silence or else i get wrapped up in the song and eat shit hard.

if you have trouble concenctrating, get mellow music with no/few words, and have it turned low. mellow music will make your skiing smoother (atleast it does for me) and you feel more relaxed.
