I got a Binding Question for y'all !
So here it is. I was supposed tu buy myself some new skis+bindings but due to a lack of $$$ I think I'll just change my bindings and keep my old skis for another year.
I want to replace my bindings for new, lighter ones (my old Atomic ones are way heavy and shitty, I broke them last year). Also, they are at the shop's recommended position which heavily sucks. The bindings I have at the moment have also mounting plates (lol I bought this setup when I had no twin-tip knowledge).
So my question is: Can I change bindings (replace them by new ones) and put them at another position on the ski WITHOUT damaging the skis?
The skis I have are Atomic Tweaks (the blue ones) and I'll probably buy some Looks or Salomon bindings (or even the new Atomic ones who are like Salomons right?)
Thanks for having the patience to read my question and for answering.
P.S. (I won't do the binding replacement myself, I'll go to a good shop)
yeah you can remount up to 3 times usually without hurting structural integrity... you may be somewhat limited to where to mount based on the hole location, but you will be able to figure it out, the only thing that may stop you, is I know some earlier atomic twintips had a "mounting plate" that only took the atomic binding, I am pretty sure the tweak doesn't have that, only the stomp i think and some others, but check for that...

When you do a remount you usually have to move the binding a few cm so that the new bindings don't get too close to the old holes. On the tweaks I know you can't actually mount the ski anywhere but where the little flat spot designed for mounting is. You may run into problems with that.
