in my 10 years of skiing, i cant remember wanting to get out and shred this bad. its ridiculous. i've been like wearing my suit and boots, jumping on the tramp nonstop, and im not even motivated to play other sports. also, i think water ramps made it worse.

word man i know what you mean!! like i have been walking around in my ski gear and shit. like i usually get pretty into soccer around this time cause its when mandatory starts and this year our team will be the best its pretty much ever been. but i just dont care, when im playing soccer all i can think of is skiing and jumping off the hill there and jibbing the goals and shit. its getting serious.

after labor day sales is when it gets real bad for me. i have like a boner all day waiting to get outta school early and get ski shit. dammit i need to ski.

yup, but now i crave jumps, real rails, and pow. Nothing beats the real thing, and summer really hurts. This summer especially, so much rain. Not enough nice weather to get me out. Global warming fucking with us in Vancouver.

dude, I'm not playing hockey this winter just so I can ski more... my parents are so mad at me for quiting but I'd rather get an extra 30 days in at the hill than be working my ass for a shitty team that's going no where in the standings.

word i quit hockey and its made me so happy, i still have competitive soccer which is year round but thats only twice a week. i still recommend doing something else than skiing though.

Yah many people are in this boat. Almost all i think about is skiing related. I see cool things to jib and cool lines just looking at random stuff, even in the summer. And my friends, expect for 2 who think the same way except for snowboarding, think that I need to get a life. But fuck them i dont care haha

I'm the same. It probably doesn't help that I have gotten a lot of new gear off summer sales and such. The lack of snow hurts.

Yeah, so far this summer I've watched Beyond the Bunny Hill more times than i can count. BMxing and fruitbooting took the edge off for a while but now it doesn't help.

the only positive thing i can associate with going back to school is the "ski season is damn close" feeling that i HOPE will come with it. I can't wait until shops put all of the ski stuff out. I love buying new ski gear because it is the only thing i want to buy, thus making it very easy for me to save money.

yup, i got my invaders, have heard so much stuff about them, and haven't skiied them yet.
I think of them and other skiing related stuff for at least an hour every night before i can fall asleep.

we had a session the other day. as soon as i put on my boots i get realy stoked. such an awesome familiar anticipatory feeling (in 10 minutes i'm gona be skiing!!!!).

try workign an unpaid rediculously borign internship with nothign to think about other than skiing. i log like 5 hours out of 8 a day on ns at work.

if you have a lake pick up wakeboarding... its a fun sport for the summer... just keeps your mind off it for a while.

The other day i was chilling with my gf, staring at my wall and she asks "what?"
so i said, "You're going to hate me... all I can think about is skiing."

this also happens to be after more intimate relations...

That same thing happens to me all the fucking time, I live with my girlfriend so she always sees me looking up ski shit or watching ski movies. At least she loves the snow as much as me, too bad she snowboards...oh well.
