its okay but x games is a double edged sword it's made for t.v. and is gay that way but it brings publicity to smaller sports. but about the rally it just got really exiciting so its cool to whatch
to me the x games is based on style, like 90% of the stuff in there is judge based, i just dont think racing should be in it, that goes for snowcross, and skier x and so on, but thats just me and i think it pleases more people than displeases
It's cool to watch for sure, but the X-Games is more for fads than sports that will stick around. Snow cross is so sick and I don't know how you could hate on that.
I think its dumb. Honestly, its not rally, its rallycross. Plus you don't really even have any big names. They talk about Colin Macray(sp) like hes the best in the world. He has not even been on the podium in the WRC circuit for a few years. I would love to Markus Gronholm, Seb Loeb, Petter Solburg in it. The real WRC champions, not this rally america shit. Put Tanner Foust against any of these guys in a real rally and he will get a shit spanking like nobody has ever seen before.
X-game rally is just a show for rich americans, unknown canadian rally racers, and an old ex-champion to dog fuck on the most caca rally cross course i have ever seen. Rally cross is HUGE in brittain, and even they would say it looks like shit. Thats my opinion on it.
It takes a lot of skill to drive in NASCAR. You cant tell by watching it, but the way you enter and exit every turn, each time you apply the brakes, and accelerate... it's all done precisely at the right moment according to the demands of all the different track. The ones that got it on lock down are the big names of racing. All the cars are essentially the same thing with only slight differences in the plastic to represent their car sponsors (Dodge for example). So by skill alone you have to go by to win. All of them aren't scared of driving fast, that's the easy part.
The main point of Nascar is speed, if they went at 50 mph nobody would watch it because it'd be boring, it's all speed. Rally racing is exhibition of driving and having some major balls, even if they do 50mph it'd still be exciting.
