yea i do, ever sence a bad fall on a down rail at WAWA after a slopestyle comp, got this disgustingly big painful brusie on my leg the size of a football, i love mine, tho they do get hot fast
i wear the red impact shorts. i think those are the easiest to find, they help A LOT on rails and boxes, and it saved my tailbone one time after overshooting and coming off a jump backseat
I have Crash Pads brand shorts and jacket. Both have saved my ass (literally) from many bumps and bruises. I caught my edge on a box and came straight over onto my arm, shoulder and hip with no bruising (it was such a gnarly slam somebody even rode up and asked if I was alright). I am old and learning park after skiing big mountain for years - I don't have the elasticity I did when I was a teenager and these things have really helped.
However, I overshot a landing in March and fell about 18ft to flat. When ended up taking most of the impact on my right ass cheek, and I had a bruise that was an 8 inch circle. There is only so much 1/2 an inch of EVA foam will do.
i have the crash pads shorts, and they are amazing. those things have kept me skiing on several occasions, where without them, i wouldnt have been able to get my ski pants up over the bruise i would have gotten.
