The header will look right when your browser has downloaded the latest images. If you clear your browsers cache, it will update immediately.

The changes to the banners was so we could support the latest IAB standards. More advertisers are using the wide landscape and skyscrapers banners so we decided to change with the times.

I personally love it... There's so much potential for cool banners in there, and I think it will consolidate the advertising message into more focused places.

There's a lot more opportunity for well-designed banners in there, no?

Oh yeah, these are also conforming to the IAB standard, which is the standard for advertising on the internet these days. We figured it was time to move into the here and now of the internet...

i think the content are should be made larger. the content area seems tiny now with the banners being so huge, anything planned in that direction???

Yeah for sure thats the plan. This is just phase 1 as Chris outlined... there's going to be lots of upgrades to the content areas and lots of other parts of the site.

alright sounds good, i am already getting used to it, but after spending so many hours on this site every day i was taken aback. i think when the whole site gets bigger the adds will be much more tolerable.

Yeah hell it shocked me and I'd even seen the test banners. :)

There will be lots of changes coming over the next few months, and we need you guys to bear with us! Please always keep an open line of communication back to us, as we want to know your thoughts. We really don't want you all to leave the site and go somewhere else, so we'll certainly work to accomidate.

Your opinions are the most important of anyone's so don't hesitate to get in contact with any of us through any means possible!

The best way to get in touch though is to show up for a friday office party... see now that is a good place to voice opinions. :)
