So if your skiing heavy BC (ill be in the andes on sunday), is it a bad idea to ski with music. It makes me so much more relaxed and i ski much better, but is it dangerous?...ie I cant hear the avalanche rushing behind me. Does anyone on here do it?
Personally I think this is probably the worst idea ever. I LOVE listening to music when I ski (I bring my ipod every time I go riding) but I live on the tiny E.C. If I were shredding epic B.C. lines there is NO WAY IN HELL I'd even think about wearing headphones with music. This is a really bad idea. Even if its quiet. That is, unless you have the new Iphone, which can now interrupt your music when the Iphone detects loose snow below your feet.
well, fist off you should be aware of your surroundings at all times, so having music problee will just hinder that ability.
second, dont be such a pussy!
haha, I was playing with one in the store the other day and the worker there kept on talking to me about it, i wish i could say does it detect loose snow for me?
