treat your stuff like shit much, 3 of my friends have cartels and only one broke the toe strap all season. Unless your dropping 30 foot cliffs every day i find it hard to beleive that your "constantly breaking cartels"...All of my outer wear is from burton, its not the best but for the price its really good, you dont have to buy top of the line burton to get a good set up

I will say that I teach snowboarding, so the binding are comming on and off a lot. Could add to it. But it doesn't take away the fact that I am not the only person that this happens to. I have not been hearing good stories about Burton in the last years. Pipe_Munky says, they sent back 72 pair of Anon goggles because the foam around the eye was peeling. Cooincidence this also happened to me? Burton has changed a lot over the years. They are a very known name, and have been there since the beginnging. But I will stand by my statement of, their quality has gone down hill while the prices have sky rocketed.

Burton has some of the warmest gloves ive ever worn. as far as the price goes, you get what you pay for. warm clothes/cool style= not cheap. you dont see burton in the sports outlets and this is why

hahah god, you're the ski/snowboard industry's dream.
"if we mark up the price, the consumer will only assume its better quality, and therefore its warmer"
i don't know how old you are or how much experience you have with outerwear, and im not trying to play the age card, but i'm 24 and have worn fate, sessions, volcom, orage, mission 6, sms, dc, quiksilver, grenade, salomon, and ronin outerwear over the years, and i can honestly say it just comes down each company. from my experience a $300 volcom jacket performs less well than a $200 sessions jacket for example. it just pays to do your homework on numbers such as waterproofing/breathability vs. price, then go with what fits best. p.s. i see burton shit as well as many other companies on sale all over the place, sports outlets included.

cartels and all of burtons bindins suck, i have known mutliple people with the bindings breaking, and also boards fallin apart nose and tail cracks, they just dont put the effot into thier products, all about making numbers so they can sell more instead of putting the time into their gear to make quality product.
