i would do anything for a pow day right now, all my problems become ten times worse in the summer because i cant go to the mountain to get my mind off of shit.
i'm still living off the 8 inches of the fluffiest snow i've ever skied on (in indiana no less) i've never traveled but i was skiing with an older friend of mine whose been everywhere and he said it was the fluffiest lightest snow he's ever skied on. we just needed a foot or two more. you west coast kids are lucky
i missed a storm where we got 5 feet on valentines day because my parents were in ny and i had no way to get out of the house for a week cause the snow was too high to do anything with. would have been the best day of my life, kids who go out west all the time told me it was even better than anything they have gotten out there.
so many of my friends missed this storm. i happend to be working at my hill that night and got off early to ski it. even after it closed it still hiked it for another hour or two. sucks that you missed a storm like that though. there'll be more
im always lucky cuz that last 4 times i went to either tahoe or colorado its snowed like crazy.
i remember in march my hill got tis really light fluffy snow but it wouldnt stick to the snow already there to it just drifted up on the sides but sometimes you could find some good powder turns.
