they have a metal matrix they are stiff.

they're pretty stiff. really fun ski.  compareable to an msp i'd say.

They don;'t have a metal matrix, but a carbon matrix. Poppy.

Stiffer than the Chronic Wide I'd say.

no man, definately carbon, i know this for sure. this year's blends are a prophet 90 with a carbon matrix. i know nothing about next years, although i think they may reuse the dimensions.
