British Government baning "long pointed kitchen knives"

this is soo ridiculous. i think it just proves that as long as people want to kill/hurt each other they will find ways to do it. putting some restrictions on guns i can understand but banning weapons will only help so much. inevitably it is just up to the people.

well now they have to ban all glass objects because someone could break them and use their sharp edges to stab.
and then they need to ban spoons because people can gouge out each others eyes.
and then they need to ban rubber bands because people can strangle each other with them.
jeezm you can't ban everything, no matter what some asshole is going to kill another person with something.

you can kill someone with anything
i dont have a twisted mind but i was looking around my house and i realized that anything can be a weapon..you can stuff tissue paper down someones throat so they suffocate, its just that easy folks

its only a matter of time before they put a ban on gravity because eventually the only way to take someone down will be the ol tackle method.

Because guns, fighting knives, swords, and other implements are banned in britain, the government needs to ensure that there are no means whatsoever for a distraught people to lead a successful uprising against the admittedly vulnerable police forces.
