Haha its still there and still hurts

haha, during the season, it was actually during feb break, i fell on my left side right under my hip, kind of outer thy, just becuz i fell on the same spot on rails like 5 times. it swelled up like a bitch, and stayed swollen for like a month. now, almost 5 months later, when i put some amount of pressure on it it still kind of hurts. has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how long untill this stupid thing will stop hurting, cuz i dont want it to hurt for next ski season also. thanks

oh yeah, keep in mind it doesnt hurt randomly, only when i put like more than a little pressure on it. i think it was a contusion? but im not sure

ik i called and they said i had a contusion, but they said theres basically nothing they could do for it and couldnt tell me a time range when it would be completely healed. i just wanna know if like itll be alright before next season.

yea i had really bad skiers thumb and turns out my thumb was broken so uhh get your shit checked out sooner cuz now my thumb cant bend all the way because i didnt get it looked at until 2 months after it happened.

i did it on rollerbaldes one time, it stopped after about 3 weeks, but yours seems to have carried on, maybe you should see a doctor?

you should actually go, rather than just call them. an over the phone diagnosis probably isnt as accurate as letting them examine the problem

That happened to me, I landed real low in a pipe right on my hip, and had a bruise there for a good 6 months.

I hate injuries like that. I've had a dodgy knee for about 3 months now... it's hard to explain, but basically it hurts just below my kneecap a lot if I stand on that leg and bend my knee as much as I can.
I also have a messed up index finger, on the join nearest the nail. I think it's broken but still haven't had it looked at (2 months).
I just got myself a knee brace though so I guess I'll just wear that and keep riding hard and see what happens.

fuuuck, mine is still a pretty good bump, but when i got it it was seriously a little bigger than a size of a grapefruit. and the bruise, holy shit the bruise was huge man. hopefully mines not like yours

it's a thing protruding from my hip thats probably the same size of a b-cup tit. the bruise used to be huge too but now it's just swollen mass. it bruises mad easy too. the doctor said it would go away in 6 months when it originally happened..
it's still the same size a year and a half later
good luck with yours man, ive given up on my hip for now

I used my face to grind a box a few years ago. My lip had a lump in it that stayed there for a month and a half.

I have had this. When i first got into learing 3s i always ended up like doing a cork 3 and landed on my hips. after 3 days I had the same thing as u at my hip. so i had to put like towels in my pants to protect it haha. But my parents are doctors and they said that those things take a huge time to heal. And yeah i took me like 4 months i guess.... Just give it a rest, i noticed that when i fell on it again the whole proces had to start over.
