alright i went wakeboarding and wakeskating today and was in/on the water for probably an hour. when i got out, i searched around my boat looking for my phone. then i reached in my pocket, and felt the wet cell phone. obviously it is pretty messed up. it is a verizon razr. when i plug it in, sometimes a white screen pops up, but thats it.
i have already used my warrenty thing when i broke my phone during ski season, so does anybody have any other tricks or ideas that will fix my phone?

The litmus paper that turns red is easily bleachable. If there is still the shiny coat on it then you can return it for a new one, if it's under warranty . I have done this before and it works.

hair dry it, DO NOT TRY AND TURN IT O, take it apart as much as you can and just let it sit for a week, then try and turn it on

hair dry it and put it in a bowl of rice. the rice absorbs the water

Ditto on rice trick~
My friend once got drunk and dropped his razr in my toiliet!
It was okay though, turned it off real quick, took out battery and let it dry. Works fine now.

ya, you should never try to turn something back on once its wet, take the batt out asap and put it somewhere warm, like a hot water cupboard or infront of a heater and leave it there for ages. If you spill beer or juice or something on it its gonna be fucked from the sugurs crystalising as it drys out, so in those situations, as stupid as it seems rinse it with water to try and remove all the sugurs and then dry.

if you only used it once, you should be able to again if its that accidental warranty coverage. because i had to use mine, dropped it in water and i get 2 per year, so i have once more this year...
but DONT TURN IT ON ANYMORE. i did and my phone still worked, but fucked up sometimes so i figured why not take it back, i have accidental warranty shit. let it dry for about a week or 2. then try it, it should work...

one time i decided to walk teh dog when i was really high. i had some candy in my pocket and had the munchies. i was crossing the street and trying to get the candy out and i dropped my phone but didn't notice. i got three blocks before i realized. when i got back to the phone, it had been run over by a car
