who knows if u have to quilfy corks on water ramps before doing them on snow, im pretty sure u dont cause its not a full invert but somtimes they can get close to inverts...

360FS - The rules changes this past season and allowed for inverts in moguls. A lot of the established competitors were pissed because the new tricks were scoring much higher. IMHO, they should have known that it was going to happen, and been better prepared.

Here's a highlight video posted earlier this year.

Although not on the video, the women were throwing backflips w/grabs too.

who cares. why dont we just completly ignore everything they do,(e.i make our own comps like we already do) not partisipate in there events then they will either drop off the board or be forced to change. kinda like boycotting the whole FIS

^yeah, we dont need them to tell us what we can and cannot do. we dont have anything to do with them right now, so why would we in the future? maybe the olympics, but i dont think that it will be a problem when we get to the olympics. because the only reason that the events arent in it is because they dont like the style, tricks, set up, whatever. when they let it into the olympics, they will except the entire sport for what it is. they wont make changes to it. if they felt they still need to change it to let it is, they just wont let it in.

Hshahahahahahahaahahh that highlight video is hilarious!! Those were the ugliest tricks i have ever seen! haahah They look like a bunch of really new kids into skiing just trying to huck shit.

But anyway, about the FIS talk. Skiing half pipe IS going to the olympics...and luckily enough we have a VERY fis knowledgable pro freeski group right now. As the best pro athletes in the world will be the people who will be making the decisions as to how the halfpipe event will be run and athletes will be selected for this event...there is no problem. It will end up being as cool as snowboarding in the olympics was if not cooler. The bottom line is...I know I'm not competing in FIS and I know none of the other pro athletes as of right now will be either. So who would they have to compete in the olympics? nobody. They have no choice but to listen to us and run it the way we want. We also have some awesome help from many other people within the industry. I'm not worried one bit. I'm stoked for halfpipe and the olympics. We all know FIS funkin blow...

TRUST ME we will never be in the olympics (nor do we want to be) unless many many rules are changed. first off if you are competing in the olympics or FIS you cannot have personal sponserers just team ones. you have to compete and train with your countries team at all times no individual comps or anything. everything is done as a team so that means no x-games or other comps and no camps either because you would have to be training wit your team at a discrete location

there are reasons for a young freeskier to be involved with FIS comps, this early in my carear im not gonna come anywhere near even placing in a big event like the wsi or us open, but that doesnt mean i should be heard of. Skiing in Fis run comps gets you competing againts alot more kids your age and so its possible to actully do good in them, If orage was more considerat of the youth of our sport then i wouldnt have to but not only is there no group for little rippers but you have to get specail permison to even get a chance to compete with them so alot of you that say FIS sucks or whatever probley dont fully understand all the rules as well as you should, because its not that bad, just a few extra percosions

This may have already been said, but the fis changed there rules cause they realize less people are caring about mouguls and racing, so they need to try and exercise there control over an area in the sport that is incresing in popularity, freestyle skiing was progreesing a lot when it first emergred almost in the same way it is now, but the FIS came in and slapped all these fuckin sanctions on freestyle and took the whole word 'free' out of it, hopefully they wont try and do the same thin again

no man, you don't need to qualify them, i do ussa comps all year and this year i did corks in all of them and no one cared, while most people i know got shit like mistys qualified
so i would say don't worry about it, and if they have a problem with it, then just get it qualified, it doesn't take much, 5 jumps, that's it
