Jamie pierre on Australian TV show last night
Thats right. On last nights AFL footyshow, Jamie Pierre got a solid five minutes air time. This mightnt sound that amazing to some of you north americans, but to see somebody from the industry on australian TV is probably the equivalent of you seppos turning on your TV and seeing Osama Bin Laden on the Jay Leno Show. You just wouldnt think it would happen.
For all you seppos living in a nutshell, i suggest you wikipedia what AFL is if you want to further understand what im on about. The Australian Football League (AFL) is about the worlds 4th most supported league, behind English Premier League soccer, major league baseball, NFL and La Liga in Spain. Millions of australians live and breathe AFL football, and a large proportion of these also watch the weekly Footy Show. So to see Jamie Pierre on their promoting the new Warren Miller film (they showed a clip of the 250ft drop or however big it was) is a huge accolade to him and the production team. I was stoked.
And mad props to the guy who met him, bullshit good form
the guy im referring to is justdo_it
who started the other thread vaguely related to this

oops yeah as in i used to be justdo_it but changed my profile. sorry to be a confusing retard.
were you at the footy show zozo?
nope but i was indeed watching it, it was really cool to see a mix of my two favourite sports hehe. there was the warren miller films in melbs this week so i went along to that and he was hanging out with a friend of mine so we dragged them out drinking with us. fun night. did you get to see off the grid film? it was pretty sweet
chyyeaa, go afl and pierre
AFL kills it - sydney swans.
swans??? nothing like the eagles baby
shut the fuck up you cocky australian. you think your cool saying seppos, get over yourself asshole
"excuse me does this rag smell like chlroform?"
how very seppo of you to get so offended by a nickname
your a deepthroating seppo mate fuck off
i agree its sick that it was on the AFL fotty show, but the 4th most supported league, haha i really dont know where you could pull that bullshit from, theres probably 5 other soccer leagues around the world including Brazil, Argintina, the Italian, plus a huge range of other sports leagues around the world with a much greater following than your favorite game. but anyway props for giving skiing some time on Australian TV.
hot like a microwave
ding ding ding
jamie pierre was on triple j interviewed by myf, jay and the doctor
(that's an aussie radio station for those who don't know)
some guy: hey, you ski like a snowboarder!
me: uh... thanks...
yeah i was exaggerating
but there was an actual study that came out about three weeks ago saying it was 6th
no word of a lie my friend
i will try find it an post it in here, i dont like making unsupported claims
it depends on how youo interpret "most supported league" because of the huge staduims that get large numbers of fans into watch the game live, but if you take into account of TV veiwing which is very hard yo mesure in developing nation, soccer is going to have at least 5 leagues highr than AFL + American sports. but i guess statistics seem to prove most things, weather you should belive they correctly represent the statement is another matter. anyway im just starting a augument lol

ding ding ding
yes sorry i should have mentioned this more clearly
