Can you get pretty fucked up by eating pot instead of smoking it? I used to smoke a good amount but want to save my lungs a little and try making some brownies. Is it worth baking my chronic in with some brownie mix or should I just blaze it up?

it definitely DOESN'T make you get high FASTER--however, you will be high for a lot longer period of time, and it is a different high than smoking it
in other words, don't plan on doing anything for the rest of the evening

I'v never eatin it and I dont smoke it very much but this one time my friend had a party and he had some buds on the table and his cat ate it and maybe it was because we were a bit drunk but the cat seemed pretty messes up, like on kat nip but dumber

Eating pot definitely fucks you up good. BeckaSki and I went to the Village Inn in Dillon, CO, one night for dinner, and we both had some pancakes with our dinner...they were pretty good, and right as we were leaving, I started to feel extremely weird, but in a good way. We were driving back, and it hit me like a ton of bricks- I was stoned out of my fuckin mind, and I hadn't smoked at all that day...the only thing I had eaten was dinner, so we assumed that someone put weed in the pancakes- we were so fucked up, I'm surprised we made it back to Copper in one piece. I didn't know what the hell was going on, I was so stoned...so yes, you can get high, but I do agree it was a different kind of high, it felt more intense in a way.

a really easy way to do it is to speed bake some buds into premade cookie batter. Just get soe english bay cookie dough or pilsbury or whatever and roll like a gram and a half into a cookie. Then speed bake it in an oven at like 500 degrees for 5 or 10 minutes so that all the juices and drugs get released into the dough. Make sure your bud is busted up fine. After half an hour you will be really high.

Some of my college snowsports club stayed in one of the guys' houses in Ireland for a week about a month ago. Out last night there was one girl's birthday so we made some hash cakes (just grated it up fine and mixed it with the batter) and gave her one as a birthday cake. We ate them at maybe 1.00am after coming home from a bar and most people went to bed at about an hour later. I stayed up watching TV wit ha few others and at about 3.00 it just hit me SO hard. There was a show 'The World's Deadliest Explosions' or something like that on, and it was crazy watching it totally stoned. Then at about 4.00I was the only one still awake. I went into another room and sat in the dark for about an hour and a half. I was totally tripping - I was positive that I could hear people outside shouting to me. It wasn't even like sounds inside my head - I knew that it was to my left. Crazy crazy shit. I don't smoke much, so maybe that's why it hit me so hard, because I wasn't used to it in my system so much. I've heard of guys getting sick if they've been drinking, but I'd drank enough alcohol for it to be felt before eating the cake and I was fine.

i had a tiny bit of bud left over from phish so i desided to put it on my pizza. it was like 1/2 a bowl so i dont think it was enough to affect me so nothing really happend next time im going to put a whole lot more on and see what happens.

THC is fat (and alcohol) soluble, so best thing to do is melt it into butter as mentioned above. You can then strain off the butter to get no solids, and most of the THC will be in there. Or if you don't mind you can throw in the remaining solids too so that 100% goes in.

Supposedly it's alcohol soluble - I read it on erowid.org I think. Beer wouldn't be so good because of it's low alcohol content. It said to get some really high content stuff (like 150 proof) and heat it up with the weed on a low constant heat.

it seems to me that eating pot would just kind of be a waste of time...and that you might as well smoke it. I don't know i've never tried eating it really...besides like a tiny tiny bit.

I do kinda want to try putting it in a cup a pouring hot water on it...letting it seap. But...i don't think i'll ever do that.
