as much as i hate kobe and the lakers i'll bet he didn't rape this girl. i'm sure they fucked, but then she probably figured out that she could be set for life he she told the cops he raped her (or sexually assaulted her....whatever terms you want to use). no she didn't make the whole thing up there has to be proof that they fucked for them to press charges or else it would just be her word against his and without a shred of evidence his lawyers would tear the case apart before it ever went to court. She's just saying it's rape because there's nothing he can do to prove it wasn't

I think Kobe did do it, and should go to jail, but I mean he plays for the Lakers! Hes not goin to jail, he'll be back on the courts playin next season with shaq and all his buddies havin a good time. Athletes and movies stars just don't go to jail.

he admitted he had sex with her, so it seems to me like its his word against hers, because how is she gonna prove that she didnt want to have sex. Plus she is a drug addict, so much so that she had to be taken to the hospital because she passed out for a period of time. personally I don't really care that much. It sucks but chicks have an evil weapon when they want to use it, the word rape. I think if he did do it, and it can be proven stick his ass in jail and chop his unit off (I don't believe that there is any place in this world for rapist and molesters), however if the allegations are proven false, I think the chick should be thrown in jail. Rape is one of those words that can (and I am just saying can, not that it happens all the time) be thrown around out of anger. I've known people that were falsly accused of rape, and when the girl finally admited she lied, nothing happened to her. That is just wrong. The word rape destroys people. It destroys the girl when it happens to them, and it destroys the guy if he is falsly accused, I just could care less about Kobe...

...and Robert Downey did go to jail for drug charges, and breaking probabation, but only after multiple times being given rehab, and probabation as a punishment. But he definately got more leniency from the courts than any regular joe.
