anyone skid it? im putting in an order for a pair on pro model next year and they look awesome, theyve measured me up but i have not yet got to test them or anything, was it a good choice?
damn, i cant imagine how nice those would be then. my regular mojos are fucking awesome. best boot i have ever had by far. coming off of my salomons that feel like a 10 dollar piece of crap was a big change. just the quality of materials of them is amazing. they are soooo comfortable too, i had them on for 12 hours once and my feet didnt hurt at all. they are the right stiffness for me too, you cant just flex the shit out of them like with the 1080s which is nice. those ones will be way stiff if they are stiffer than the normal ones, but i bet they will be sick. how much did you pick them up for. i got mine for 295 pro form.
with the fake rust and all that? i think theyre ugly personally, they just look kinda off. fit is a bit narrower than the regular mojo, and only mildly stiffer.
didnt get to try em on (demo size was only 26, i wear a 30) but thats what the rep said. could be a sick boot, but we didnt think it was worth the extra money and didnt bring them in.
yeah they seem a lot stiffer than my 1080s, which is a good thing, when i carved they seemingly just gave way so im definately looking for something with a bit moor beef. and i personaly loved how it looked, its like a brown shell with a leather bit under it with a cut up engraving all over it, i love it but that wasnt my point in getting the boot anyway.
its basicaly a detuned race boot from what i saw of it, only it was a lot more comfy and will not tear your foot off on a 80fter, from what the rep said to me there super responsive, sacraficing a bit of general comfort for a lot of performance. and i didnt get to try on the exact boot, he measured me up using a chart thing, best i could do as orders have to be off by tomorrow.
the other freeride boots tend to be too narrow for me (dalbello krypton rampages, lange comp 100fr, technica diablo's and rossi bandits)
of the wider ones, The Salomon SPK/x-waves, Nordica speedmachine/beast and possibly the mojos sound good..depends on fit though, but there isn't much you can do with a boot that is too narrow (unless you realllly wanna blow the shit out of it)
