Dilemma

ok my parents really want me to do marching band. i know its gay. and i really dont want to. my dad just said he might send me to CoC for 5 days this summer if i do it. so, is three days of epic summer skiing worth three and a half months of torture?

Go to camp, make it worth it, then try something really hard on your last day so you hurt yourself bad enough not to have to do marching band.

^nice. ive got another question too. what is CoC like. this year was my first on twins and i skied 50 days(not too bad for indiana). i could do 1's 3's sw 1's, but with no grabs. and can do some double kinks but thats about it. would CoC even be worth it for someone like me who isnt that good yet? especially since i havent skied since march 19 and would probably have to take a day to get the rust off

i do. quite a few actually. but its not a social thing. practices are like 5 days a week 4 hours a day and theres just really no time for chillin or nuthin

uhh 3 days of skiing for 3 months of band... as much as I love skiing doin somethin you hate for 20 hours a week isn't worth it. hell if you worked 20 hours a week all summer you could send yourself to camp.

^good point. i am working right now but i wont have enough cash by the time camp rolls around though. plus im savin my money for gas next season. its torturing me. i look at the CoC website and im just amazed cuz its better than my home mountain in the middle of winter, but then i think of the long hours of band in the summer heat

well you can always slack at band camp and maybe you will get kicked off or sumthin...dont really know how it works... or you could procrastinate and refuse to do anything once your there
