Skiing

hmm... having a bad day, feel the need to rant but yeah, here goes. Lets see if anyone else is like me. Skiing is when im happiest, its the only thing i can do to forget about all my shit, and just have fun. Im not a depressed kid at all, but whenever im doin shit stuffs always eating away at my mind, cept skiing, nothing, absolutely nothing can get me down when im skiing. Im super happy in the winter, because of skiing, and when im angry n shit, i ski, it just makes me happy, solves problems. anyone else?

have to agree, but skiing can piss me off sometimes too, especially when I screw something up that I know I shouldn't. But a bad day on snow (if there is such a thing) is still better than a good day somewhere else (especially work or school - with very few exceptions).

One time my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up in the news. It was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week, he did it again. Different cat same results complete with another trip to the emergency room. So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to him “Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your going to get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?” And he said to me “Brody, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?”

everything else just clears from my mind. im set on the tree line that im about to ski, the kicker im about to hit, the rail im about to slide. even when i eat it on a rail, its still cool becuase you know you can just get back up and try again. you always get that chance (unless you get hurt) which is great. in life you dont always get another shot, which is why skiing is so wonderful.

skking is the greatest for clearing your mind. I go up the hill and leave everything on it. I may suck, but I always leave everything on the hill cause It just really gets rid of tension.

my life isnt shitty, but some things in it are, like school and teachers always being bitches to ya, and friends being being bitches, and girls being bitches, and just life being a general bitch, and when i wake up in the morning and i am going to ski that day, all of the other shit, everything, its of no importance, its all left behind and its like a whole nother existence, when im on the hill no one and nothing can bring me down, skiing sets me free


now i just gotta start skiing like its the last time i will ever ski all the time and i might get somewhere
