I just got back from my first trip out west, to Banff...and it was amazing. Louise was amazing, i'd never skied chutes or bowls before. Let me tell you, i am jealous of any of you that live out there and ski that all winter
yeah I know the feeling too, I am from Winnipeg, MB and the skiing out there is crazy! No wonder everyone is so good, there's no such thing as being too good for any mountains out there, there is no limit to how far you can push it, in the park or off piste...
I got one of the spring season passes for cheap at sunshine, and skied out there for a week (skipped a week of uni to go on kiddie spring break), and now going back May 8-22 but I think it closes on 21st? I thought I would get bored of sunshine, it is such a sick resort tho!
if I ever get the chance I am moving to the mountains for sure!
I would seriously kill to ski out there on a good powder day, definitely on my list of places to ski mid-winter.
I actually did a ton of skiing with Sandy Best (don't know if any of you know him, he owns a ton of shit) cause i was with a group, and he wanted to take us and do some more backcountry stuff. One of the best, and nicest skiers i've ever met. Overall every part of my banff trip was amazing.
