Ummm... everyone look on the internet today and find a local drop zone it is so worth 150 bucks... I got to jump from 10k feet and this place only had 5 minutes of class. Everyones gotta try that shit once what a fuckin trip ohh yeah its my birthday. I win

yeah since I only took 5 minutes of class I had an instructor strapped ot by back. But In my opinion that made it more fun. I didnt have to worry about shit except looking down at the earth rushing twoards you at 120 mph flying past the clouds at 7000 feet and breaking through. It's an expereince everyone needs to try. It was alot more intense than I thought it would be. Your holding onto the wing of some piece of shit airplane at 10000 feet and its noisy as hell cuz the plane is moving 80 knots. then you let go and since you stop moving forward so fast and start moving downwards it gets quiet for a few seconds and it such an intense and weird feeling I cant even explain it. Anyway dont have time to talk gotta og make moeny for another jump

Tandum is kinda gay,

it's gotta be so much better alone and shit,

it' takes alot of jumps before you can start doing flips and stuff,

i saw an IMAX movie on it yesterday, it' didn't do anything for me, but i've got a cousin a fligth instrustor in UTah, he's also a base jumper, those are my hooks,
i gotta take them up soon,

Bungee jumping is pretty lame,

I don't think I could toss myself out of a perfectly good airplane. It would be really cool once I was falling and the like, but wow. The actual jumping wouldn't ever happen for me.

my uncle was supposed to take me,it was a course that you took for a couple of hours and then you took your first jump all for just 120bucks

well the couple hour class if for a static line jump which means your ripcord is attached to the airplane so as soon as u jump it starts pulling your chute so u get liek 1 seconds of freefall. and as far as tandem being gay hes strapped on your back so you dont even see him or notice hes there its not like hes weighs anything when your falling. it was alot more intense than i thought it would be after watching it on t.v a buncha times i could say i prolly would have never done if my dad didnt make the reservations its the kinda thing everyone wants to do but everyone puts off forever.

u pretty much have to tandum the first few times...if u do the quick lessons and shit.

B.A.S.E jumping is sooo damn crazy thoguh. those nice cliffs that are prefectly straight down, or a good solid building are great fun to jump off......

my grandma said she would pay, since she paid for my sis to do it.

I wanna try b.a.s.e jumping but first Id like to do a few more sky-dives just to get used to controling the chute. Its different than you would think If you pull hard enough on one side you can make it do a barrel roll which would be bad news on a b.a.s.e jump

I was hoping for a much more exhilarating ride than it was the first time I went skydiving. Is it fun? Yes. Is it particularly scary? No. Definitely something I'd recommend to anyone though.

Skydiving solo is the most incredible thing in the world.  I recommend learning how, but I'm sure the tandem is plenty for most people.  Just don't ever jump solo if you have lifelong goals involving you having money....because if you think you break the bank with skiing you are in for an addiction similar to heroine.

ugh, I'm 20, and I still don't have enough $$$ to go skydiving, freaking college books...

anyhow, next summer I plan to go hang gliding and skydiving.

Or maybe skydiving later this summer if i can save up some money
