PK Hunder Photoshop- critique neeed

I got bored the other day so i started messing around with photoshop again. this is a WORK IN PROGRESS so its not near done yet. im kinda stuck on what to do next. here's 2 versions of it, i like the one with the splatter all over the mountains but i thougth i'd put this one up too.

I think you should take the supid kamakaze thing out, but keep the dots in the sky, Make them partially opeque and lay them over the original backroundl. Keep the splatter so that they stray from the mountain, I like it.

the sky is definately too vibrant, a vertical gradiant would REALLY help

if you ask me, the key to doing good photoshop work, is to not go overboard. you went WAY ovrboard. theres soooo much going on, and the colors dont match with the actual picture of him. the text looks ok, the japanese thing is distracting. i like the halftoning, maybe up the opacity a bit and play with the blending options, the text placement and font works nicely, thats where you want to add the pzazz, not right over top of the image your trying to highlight. drop shaddows would look nice too under those. post the origional image please, ill show ya what i mean.

still too much going on. And i can blatently see the JOI jump is backwards. I cant tell if you're trying to make him look like hes going off the JOI jump, or going off an unseen jump in the foreground

it is usally a good idea to get rid of the vignetting in the sky to rid the impression of clutter.

i didnt even notice the text was backwards in the jump haha. i switched it back and took out the dots, and moved the skier a little bit

dude the dots looked sick. What looks bunk is how the jump is too big, and the dark blue vignette gives the overall impression an "inclosed" feeling, which is partially why it looks so cluttered.

I say make the jump smaller, get rid of the blue and instead just make the dots a VERY faint blue and lay them over the sky, just partially opeque.

getting better......
keep the dots
keep the semi splatter over the whole mountains
keep the jump bacwards....its fine the letters aren't right it just fits the pic better that way.
try to lower the jump behind the mountain or make it smaller
I'd lose the second pk on the left. its over kill in my opinion
keep the one on the botton it fits real well. Mess around with font colors maybe green?

I dont understand this metaphor.

for the picture though id just get rid of that deep blue and make it a lighter shade or something. I like both of the PK HUNDERS though, those are cool. also id say just get rid of the joi jump.

that picture of the skier needs tweaking

copy it, blur it alot (or abit if u wish) and then mess with the layer properties (overlay and stuff like that)

that will just help the contrast and make it look a tad more crisp

Much better, only suggestion would be to move the skier up and to the right things always look better off center and itd balance off the letters, but much improvement i like that one

wow, that looks much sicker.

the only thing I would recommend is that you take off the bottom title, and only leave the side one, and possibly make it a little more noticable.

also PK seems a little big...make him a tad bit smaller? I dont know, its just that it seems like he seems out of place partially because hes too big. Hes the size of a mountain, hes the size of the JOI lip...see what Im getting at? He has no line of reference.

I think you should make him smaller, and move him towards the uppler left a tiny bit. Use the rule of thirds to eliminate symmetry.

alright here it is: i like the one without the red lettering on it much better actually, i never thought to take it off but it kinda messes with the whole overall color scheme.

i'd still make the image taller. not stretched, but add more sky and put him in the upper left third.
