Read 3 of his 4 of his books (not the children's books)
I'd suggest them all, but here's some quick info:
-A Pirate Looks at 50 - a memoir/bio of his life so far, which is fuckin nuts cause he's lived a crazy life.
-Tales from Margaritaville - quick, short stories, all fun. Some true, some false. This book has a short story about a cowboy named Tully Mars and he wrote the next book (Salty Piece of Land) to continue this short story.
-A Salty Piece of Land - fun, easy to read fictional book about a cowboy named Tully Mars who is a wanted fugitive in Wyoming but runs away to find the ocean and ends up having some crazy adventures as a fly-fishing guide on some island in the Indies.
All different, so I can't pick a favorite, but if you're looking for a book of shorts, Tales from M.Ville. If you're looking for fiction, Salty Piece of Land. And if you want a sick memoir/NF book, Pirate Looks at 50.
