So I stopped into my local shop (Putnam's in Portsmouth, NH) this weekend just to see what was up and shoot the breeze. I was checking out their twin tip wall and I was blown away when I saw NEXT YEAR'S LINE Chronics on the wall!!! Oh man they look so freakin dope I can't even beleive it! I had seen pictures, but they look 20 times better in person. I wish I had some extra change kicking around right now to pick up a pair, even though I think I'm done riding for the year I'd love to have them just to stare at, haha. Anyhow, just wanted to share my excitement with ya'll. Party on!

Word!
Line has some of the best skis around, it's such a shame some loud mouthed kids are ruining their reputation.
if your going to talk shit on lines durability you better mention salomon and K2 since theyre no better.

over the summer they might get changed up by adding carbon fiber along the ski to add even more pop. i rode the ski at vto slope and its amazing. super smooth pop/flex.

i'm gonna go ahead and disagree witht the k2 thing . there are many companies that have skis that fall apart faster than K2. I'll go with salomon.

there is no way that happened unless your edges were already coming out/damaged from rails. ive overshot large jumps and missed halfpipe walls and my skis are in perfect condition.

ive riddin as ahrd as i can on my chronics for almost three seasons and they have one tiny chip out of the topsheet. no other damage. the chronics are sooo solid. SO FUCK YOU!

I have wide chronics, have ridden them less than 50 days.... tails are fucked, starting to delam. under boot on one ski is starting to delam. Tip of one ski is starting to delam. if it wasn't for me haveing lots of epoxy and knowledge in preventing delaminating, these skis would have been delamed long ago.
As for line invaders... they're a fucking joke ski, that's all that can be said about them. My good friend rides for line and has a pair he got from them, and they were fucked beyond repair within a week.
NOW... K2 skis I have from over 6 years ago, and a pair of PEs that have been beat to shit, but are still in working condition without delam. hopefull K2 will help line not make shitty skis, because as of now, the two pairs I have contact with are pieces of shit.

I'm thinking Lines gunna put some more effort into the delam problem this year, seeing as its their only problem really, and I think next year's skis will be better, so don't knock them because of a couple defects, it could be worse.

i personally think my chronics are dope, no delam problems this season but i do have to say that my chronic wides delaminated 4, count them 1, 2, 3, 4 days after riding on them brand new. i was pissed and line sent me the wrong damn skis (they sent back chronics in exchange for chronic wides) so theyve lost my trust as a company. im switching to k2 or dynastar.

I guess they're supposed to be a little softer next year..anyone know exactly how much softer?

the tails are softer than the old ones, but the ski has fully symmetrical flex. its stiffer than most skis, very stable and very solid
