Bad times with weed

ok. so last night was the first time I got really stoned. I was hot boxing with some friends and when we went back to sneek back into our house I had to sit outside to get off some of the smell. In the mean time. my throught is starting to close up from the smoke hurting it so i can hardly breeth. now im out side and i just start getting cold and begining to shiver all over my body. Does the weed just amplify your feelings so like if im sad weed makes you very sad? I don't know if any one else has had their throught almost  close up. I dont have asmthma. Do you thing i had an allegic reaction?

Yeah i wasnt paranoid. I deffinatly think my mind was tricking me to feel bad. I guess i just have to keep thinking good thoughts. my legs were so weak too. I have no clue how people ski real stoned.

Yeah, for sure just try it again. Weed doesn't really amplify feelings from my experience, but it can make you very paranoid. If it's your first time getting stoned, you guys just hotboxed and probably smelled like harvest season, and your parents are home... it's going to freak you out. Try it some other time when you don't have to worry about reporting to anyone for awhile so you can just chill and enjoy it. Guaranteed you'll have a good time.

yeah dude sometimes i dont swallow for a while or i get really bad cottonmouth and it just leads to me thinking i cant breathe...then i forget about the issue in like 3 seconds. just chill out.

Its all mental but sometimes pot can make the real side of people come out. Like when I get high, I talk and talk and talk about the dumbest stuff, but one of my friends used to smoke and when he did, it made his really sad and depressed and he would sit in the corner of the room and cry. Sometimes weed does weird things to you. One time, I though that the deck was falling apart at my friends house when i was sitting on it but its all just mental. Sometimes when I get paranoid when i smoke, I think that my legs are shaking uncontrollably (sp?) and that i'll get caught but its all just mental.

What the hell are you guys smoking haha? Shesh... I'm not sure I get dumber specifically while smoking, but if I smoke a lot regularly I just get dumber in general. A few weeks ago I bought a half O and smoked that over the course of six days pretty much exclusively with one other person and by the end of it I was making stereotypical valley girl comments left and right.

Try it again sometime when you can just sit and chill with people you feel comfortable around. Now that you kind of know what to expect and you know it's all in your head so you'll be able to get a good vibe and ignore the paranoia.

You have to admit it's a bit funny to read this stuff on a forum :-)

but chill mate, I think everyone who smoked some good weed or skunk will no what you're talking about. Whenever you get that feeling again, with wathever you're taking or smoking, try to realise it's the drugs that is doing this, don't panic. It might also help to just talk to someone about it, it's just weed, so their must be someone who isn't that high like you and he'll calm you down, if not give me a call mate haha

when i first started smoking it hurt my throat so bad, i'd like trip out and be like, omg i need ice in my mouth at all times! ahhh! then i started smoking a lot and it didnt hurt at all.

na its the same thing for everyone when you smoke alot, your throat feels like its closing us because you have realllllllyy bad cotton mouth, a couple of bottles of water will do the trick. Whenever i get really high, i usually start to shiver, even if its not that cold, i just start to shiver. And staying outside wont get the smell of you? i hate axe, but if you're paranoid you spray a little and it will take away the smoke smell but not smell strong like axe, so it wont be obvious, it just makes you not smell like smoke.

also i get high alot, and it just makes you think about the most random things. So if you're sad, and you play sad music it will usually get you really really depressed. When i'm high i love to listen to music with a lot of deep thoughts. Like modest mouse, dispatch, death cab for cutie. But when you're smoking listen to I cant feel my face by lil weezy and juelz, shit is serious

Also middies or regular cheap bud gives you cottom mouth 20x worse for me atleast.

Really? No way, regular cigarette smoke makes it so I can't breathe so I'd imagine any kind of smoke at all would have the same effect. Anyway, if I tried and you were wrong I'd probably die.

"My son was born with severe asthma, and has almost died numerous times in his life, from it. He's 24 years old now, but still suffers from the severe asthma.
About the time he got his driver's license at 16 his asthma mysteriously got better..... My wife and I assumed that he was finally growing out if it. Unbeknownst to us, he was smoking marijuana.

2 years ago he got busted with a joint. He was put on probation with random urine tests, and was unable to smoke any pot for a long time. His asthma came back just as severe as it was before he started smoking pot.

I'm convinced that pot helps asthmatics. My son is living proof."

Most people can't even feel a difference between smoking out of a vaporizer and inhaling air normally. So... yeah. Still gives you cottonmouth though, just not as bad.

first time i got "really" high, i freaked out too, i didnt like it at all and i had to sit and contemlate life for awhile before i continued on with my night, and i was really paranoid i was going to die because my memory span was like 3 seconds, so when i was talking to someone, i would forget what i said like three words back so i would repeat it like 7 times, or just stop and forget what i was doing.. it wasnt very fun

haha i had the same thing happen to me, i thought i was the only one. the one time i smoked i did it on a break at work, felt good at first then i had to go back into work and freaked out. i was shaking like crazy and i thought i was going to die. i was about to go to the hospital, but i ended up going home, taking a shower, and falling asleep. i felt shitty for a few weeks after that and i cant bring myself to try it again.

i had an anxiety attack in a taco bell for like 10 minutes, then our tacos came and i felt better.

i think it just happens, and it's all in your head (which is a hard thing to control when your real real ripped for the first time).

but yeah i don't think i have ever freaked out, ive been sketched out talking to my parents and this one time i was at the movies and i was too high to comprehend anything going on and i just wanted it to stop so i could watch the movie, but yeah man just chill out and let urself have a good time. if u stay calm the experience will be much more fun.

My friend actually got some kind of respiratory attack from smoking weed, if it weren't for his brother he probably would have had to go to the hospital and may have even died, but apparently it had happened to his brother so he knew what to do.

Happened next time he smoked too so he went to his doctor and convinced them to give him an inhaler because "even though I don't smoke, I will be with kids who do and don't want to risk it". He's never actually had to use it, it's never been a problem since. Some people have weird reactions to things, but it's no different than, say, an allergic reaction to a bee sting.

The dealio is this: Whatever pent up feelings you have at the time of toking, Weed is just going to reduce your inhibitions, thus meaning those feelings will come out. If you were feeling happy, your going to have fun. If you were feeling depressed, your going to be more depressed. If you think one bad thought during the tokage, then obviously your mind is going to get the best of you and cause you to just tweak out. Next time you start to tweak, just tell yourself its all mental, and go have a good time. Jea!

you fucking guys are just bugging out, eveybody bugs like that there first couple of times..And for the dry mouth, everybody gets cottom mouth, just drink water. I shiver all the time when i get high, even when its not cold. Its just how your body reacts, everybodies different. Just smoke in a good envirnoment and get used to it. Before you know you will be taking exams high as hell and it wont phase you

dude the best advice i've ever heard for situations like that came from my friend while we were trippin on the flamest buds we've ever had and i had the spins so bad i was about to puke. he said "just get on a level with it." and i realized he was absolutely right. u just gotta sink into the high and convince yourself that ur not that fucked up. thats when u start having a lot of fun and thats how u can ski when ur baked

That happens to me every once in a while when I get really blazed. When your just crazy high its easy to start trippin out and freaking out. Like sometimes I will get weird feelings in my legs and hands which sometimes I enjoy but sometimes it makes me think about not wanting to be high, and if that thought goes through your head it goes bad. Then you basically have to distract yourself, with food or something, to go back to super high normalness.
