Synth/keyboard advice?

basically, i'm looking for a new synth/keyboard setup or possibly a workstation under 2 grand, unless its really worth the money then up to 2500, but i have very little knowledge in the area. right now i have a baldwin digital piano and a microkorg but want a more portable setup so im getting rid of the balwin and replacing it. any advice?

i just have an acoustic upright becsaue my family is ghetto like that but if i were you i'd get a korg triton of a phantom x8. I don't know the prices on those though.
