off season training
whats the best things i can do this summer just to help with the basics? i was thinking about making some sliding shoes. and maybe buying a skating rail...like a real one, so in the winter i can actually practice at a small hill rather than going to the mountain. im too poor for a camp. or to get a tramp.
get a job - get a tramp, make more money, go to camp;

tramp help more then anything, and find stuff that helps with balance,
ya, tramp, diving board gives you the sort of forward motion like off a jump, mountain biking is good for balance and getting some nerves to do shit, cause if you'd do it on dirt and rock, there's no reason not to on snow
Seize the carp
definately tramps and diving boards.
water ramps, they are fucking at least 10x harder then skiing... so they get you lots better
yah lets be realistic, not many people have access to water ramps. anyhow, get like a summer pass at a pool, and hit up the diving boards and towers. and figure out who has a tramp near you and become friends with them.
my friend has a tramp and i want to jump on it so bad but i have pysical therapy for my fucked up knees and they told me not to jump on a tramp but i couldnt resist and my knees were hurting.
But if i could i would jump on that thing all day.
yea or work for like 10 years and don't spend any money and then purchase a ross bed (fly bed) they're about a good 10 thous. plus
My friend has this quarry right near his house which is protected by the cops (so only his family/friends can go), and were gonna make a water ramp into it. The rocks are only like 20 feet high, but rollerblading that shit is gonna be so hot.
i usually hit up a quarry with like 25 foot cliffs here in ottawa, but some guy died there a week ago, and another guy died in a quarry around here yesterday, so im guessing that the cops wont let us go into them anymore. but that hasnt stopped me before, so...
our quarry is sketch, wicked shallow spots. and water is gross as hell. someone almost died there last year and its got gross water. oh and it has gross water.
i like to burn things
i can do a summersault
hey poniverus what's a ross bed(fly bed)?
just be active, dont sit around
im planning on skating and biking more to keep fit. i have a balance board, those ones shaped like skateboards. they really help my skating. will they help with skiing at all, even though its shaped like a board? im thinking if you put your feet parallell with each other, its like riding skis. i gotta find some people with tramps. my mom wont let me get one :\
and i forgot, i dont have a diving board but i go cliff jumping a lot and that takes balls, i was gonna work on flips and such but with my broken wrist i cant swim so that sucks.

i was wondering...if i stand on my balance board with my feet together, perpendicular with the rolling thing under it, could that help with my balance on rails?
everyone is entitled to the above opinion.

it will help your balnce, with everything. thats why they call it a balance board
i hate posers. thanx to harvey and all who contribute to the site for makin it so kick ass. the world is my very own pot party.
no just use the balance board like it was meant to be used, it still helps a lottttt with balance
mountain biking like people said develops some balls, but as bad as it sounds fruit booting! I've talked to some really good skiiers who did it in the past and now KILL rails so Its always an option
