Fuck! i forgot about the eggs

whether spring comes today (20) or tomorrow (21), you are able to stand an egg on its end b/c of the alignment of the earths axis. i have been waiting for this since like december and i totally forgot.
did anyone try it? is it even true?

according to that link posted above, the equinox has nothing to do with it, you can make an egg stand up any day of the year with some effort. that makes me feel better that i couldn't do it.. but i like the idea that it only works today.

are you all aware that even if this were true it would only work in different geographical locations at different highly specific times? and thus the fact that you're all doing it all over the goddamn north american continent is proof that you could do this any day of the year?
