Well the voting is on right now (CBC, CTV, TSN and others). Salisbury Austria was voted out in the first round of votes, which was a fairly big surprise.

Pynong-yong (yeah i know it's spelled wrong) South Korea and Vancouver/Whistler are the last two with the final vote taking place around 11:30.

thats good and bad. good cuz whistler gets all this recognition (and they will improve the highway), and bad because anything combining international federations with sports is bad news.

no, t. was going for 2008 summer olympics.

And the 2014 winter olympics will most likely be in korea if the voting follows historic precendent.

ya its going to be sweet even though its 7 yrs away i am stoked. to was going to goo for the 2012 summer if vancouver didnt get this but they are not going to goo for it anymore. im glad that we got it i was suprised that saulsburg was knocked out right away when they where the fav pretty much the whole time coming into today

they have already started working on widening the sea to sky hwy. so it'll be just fin in 7 years. but also very nice for trips to whistler over the next few summers
