i have to say well i just got rapped by paintballs point blank my bro and his friend put a least twenty paint balls in my back and made me bleed ahhhhhhhhhhh
This isn't that bad, but my hand got caught in a door jamb when I was 10, which then promptly crunched my fingers and earned me a trip to the hospital. Then years later, my mom slammed my hand in the car door (on accident, of course)
Torn/sprained Achilles tendons aren't fun, either...always stretch before sprinting.
p-tex burns hurt like a bitch. Getting my half sleeve tattooed, the skin between the elbow and arm pit fucking killed. It hurt and tickled at the same time
the most painful thing that has ever happened to me is when i broke my elbow.i couldent sleep for two days, then i had to have sergery and that made it hurt so much more. then the pain killers i was using made me constipated(theres lots of storys on ns about that).finally i wont be able to bend my elbow all the way ever again.
oh now i remember one, i was holding onto a sereagted like bread knife with the edgye side in my fingers, like holding it reverse and my mom ripped it out of my hand and it sliced into all my fingers
im hyper allergic to wasps... like on the scale, a 0 is the allergic reaction to bees for most people, a 2 is wasp, 5 hornet, etc. I'm a 2790 for wasps.
Last summer, i stepped on one. It didn't get my blood stream, then i'd have been screwed, but the pain it caused in my foot was unbearable. At first it was a spiking, jolting pain, and when my entire foot had swelled up to the size of a cantaloupe, every single pain receptor in my foot was firing at the same time... i had to basically freeze my foot to make it better... twas a scary moment.
either getting hit in the face with a fast moving field hockey ball... or hitting my head on numerous rails...or maybe even getting a syringe in my mouth when i had dry sockets from my wisdom teeth. that REALLY hurt, i cried during it.
when some of my finger got cut off in a door and the fucking idiots at the ER put some gauze right on it, like ontop of the wound/bone that was showing. then i had to go get that gauze removed the next day when all the dried blood fused with my skin and the gauze. good one doctors!
or when i dislocated my shoulder then tried putting it back in myself not knowing it was dislocated, leading to everything that is attached at your shoulder to just break off every which way. it didnt hurt at the time, but trying to sleep sucked balls. so did having to take off the layers from skiing for an xray.
but these dont even compare to most of you guys, god damn
i caught an edge just skiing and flew into the trees 3 broken ribs, punctured lung, dislocated sholder and elbow, hip pointer, 2 shattered fingers, and a level 4 concussion, didnt hurt at first because i was looped out but a week after i wished i died
last spring i slid out on my longboard going like 20mph and smacked the back of my head on the pavement. I had internal bleedingin my skull, a hairline fracture, major concussion, had to be in the hospital for 3 days. couldnt eat anything for a weeke but i was still hungry (when your head is messed up it fucks with ur stomach too), and i couldnt read with out my head trobbing for like 3 weeks which sucked cause i had to go to school. and then i could do any physical activity for1-2 months
Probably a tie between dislocating my hip and breaking my tib/fib. I had surgery for both, and had mad muscle spasms after the surgeries, it sucked. They tried to have me control the muscles myself, but I couldn't so after like an hour they gave me muscle relaxers.
huge broken peice of glass was sitting on a table with the edge sticking out cuz my dad had to break the window to get inside the house during an ice storm, i tripped and sliced my head open on the glass, had to go to the hospital it stung so much and i was so scared i thought i was gonna die and alot of blood i was 11 years old
Painful moments for me:
Earaches
The terrible feeling when you fall in a certain way, on your ass, on hardpack while snowboarding
Large scrapes from biking/skateboarding
When I fractured a rib at first I could barely breathe, after that I would lapse in and out of pain and I cried which I never do.
Oh also, when I spilled boiling hot oil on my hand and foot.
at this random party, pretty damn drunk, ended up hooking with this chick, went back to her place and got it on.
next day took a piss and it was like razorblades inside my dick. didnt know wat the fuck was going on. talked to my friends and they were like who was that fat chick you left with? OMG I HAD SEX WITH A FATTIE
did a google realised i'd probably caught some std, went to some random doctor on the otherside of town. he was all cool about it. but i had to stick a cotton tip all the way up my urthrea (PEE HOLE) and twist it twice. hurt so bad....
but the doc was all cool, hes like 'was she a good root?'
hahaha....
morale to the story dont drink and have sex with fat chicks
when i was young i was cutting plastic zip-tie off an electrical cord with a knife used to fillet fish, i slipped and the knife went through my hand luckily it missed the bones and i didn't feel pain straight away. when i showed my mum she almost fainted
It was just the area around where the breaks were and where they did the surgery. All the muscles around there would seize up and start shaking and then relax and then sieze up again, and then the PT would tell me to flex all those muscles and try to control it but it would just get worse.
i hyperextended my knee playing soccer last fall...like my foot was planted and my knee bent inwards i was on the gorund yelling for like 5 mins strait
yup happened to me before. i could not move for like 3hrs cus of the pain. i think my eardrum exploded. i also broke my collarbone and that hurt like a bitch
I had one on my eyebrow by a big ass black bumble bee. its kinda funny though, this was when i was like 5, and I jumped out to save my playmate. she is a slut now
when i shattered a vertbre in my back and then the doctors said at park city i only compressed it and so i had to walk up my friends stairs to his bed then ended up dry heaving up blood and stuff 5 times taht night then get home and find out at another doctor that i shattered my vertrbe into like 7 or 8 pieces and compressed it more th 50%
yeah apendix tho sounds like it would suck my cousin went thru that i would say that would be worse
My appendix almost exploded, doctors said I had the stomach flu... but instead it just shrivelled up and formed scar tissue, which my intestine wrapped around, cut off all circulation until my intestine and appendix became gangreonous (rotted)... doctors still said it was the stomach flu... finally i had surgery where my appendix and 1 foot length of intestine were removed...
later in hospital it got infected and the doctor used a needle to slice the 6 inch incision across my abdomen open again, right in front of my eyes.
5 month recovery, home schooling, 2 years of complications.... better now though and the morphine was great!
Worst ever for me was fracturing my vertebrae in football and having my disk serverly being deterorated. I played all season with it the trainning staff said it was no big deal. Started feeling better gradually. Then about a two months ago was squating on a friday and couldn't get out of bed on that sunday.
Couldn't walk or get out of bed for 1 and a half weeks. Pain would just make me collapse when i got up. After 3 spinal injections later i can now walk and starting to get back into exercising.
This was way worst than when i had serious compound fracture when i almost cut off my finger and worst then i messed up my knee. Worst part about this the vidken didn't do shit and i didn't really get to ski.
ok well this is my toe six months after they chopped that shit all off cause both sides were fucked
the parrts on my toe next to it are where the dr. put some meds down and splatterd and burnt some skin

Yep... been there, done that. I had appendix flare-ups for years, and the docs always said it was the stomach flu. They finally removed it almost six years after my initial flare-up when it burst. Good times.
I've had maybe only one experience that was more painful than the whole appendicitis bout, and that was when I broke both my back and sternum at the same time by jumping off of an 85-90 foot cliff. I had to climb my way out, walk back to the car, and then sit through a 45-minute windy drive back to the apartment, which is a LOT worse than it sounds. I couldn't sleep because both my front and back sides were broken, I was hyperventillating for weeks, and yeah. Day before my birthday, same day my G-ma ended up passing away, and the day after my health insurance ended. I was working two weeks later, which is insane, but I was bored. I'm still having complications two years and three mouth/jaw surgeries later.
Wow some of these are so intense, i dont think i've ever been in like real pain.. two painful events i can remember are
1. broken collar bone at hockey rink, for some reason they descide the janitor should check it out... so he like swings my arms around and asks, "does that hurt" like a fucken idiot, i say yes and he repeats the process like 5 times then ends up saying you should go to the hospital... ughhh
2. me and friends had some time wanted to be pyro's (was grade 9) pretty much there was a fire and there was a bottle of axe deoderent in there (obviously intentional). it exploded came out couple feet and hit me in the face in the eye area..... my pupil was distorted and shit couldnt see out of that eye for a while.....
either way those actualy didnt hurt that much especialy the second one it was more just like uhhhh shit..
i think that the people with either broken vertebre stuff, or major concussions, or apendix problems on this thread win. Also that person who tore there acl, mcl, ect. at the same time and wanted to die on a different e-coli incident, your up there too for sure.
