do boots help you spin and do tricks, i was just wondering because i suck, but i use my moms boots from like the 80's ( i outgrew my older beter ones ) ill try to post a pic of them

well.. you dont actually need boots to ski. you can wear ski loafers or ski tennis shoes.

If you have a boot that's really comfortable, that's all you need. For example, my FreeXX boots don't fit my foot very well cause they're too big, therefor it hurts to ski at times and I get shin bang. That's why I need some new booties.

Will good boots greatly improve your skiing?
No

A good boot will just feel more comfortable to you when landing, taking off, and in actual skiing. They would reduce foot and leg related pains after skiing. Its not you will suddenly be able to spin faster though.

just huck harder, practice makes perfect, also boots do have a large effect on actual skiing,

the boots are more important that the skis. you can put a good skier on shitty skis and they will still be able to rip, but you put even a good skier into boots that dont fit or dont feel good, pain and injury will result

ya for all of you that actually get out of the park and do some actual skiing boots make a HUGE difference. id take a properly fit boot with custom insoles over new skis anyday but then again not many of you ski more than the one run at your terrain park so for you fucks no it doenst matter what boot you use

boots are definately more important than the ski. they wont make you good but will help you progress better. without shin bangs and hurting feet. it will help you get smoother on takeoff and landing too. you will feel better. look at it this way. walk in some small ass uncomfortable wooden shoes. now put on some comfy basketball or skate shoes. how do you walk differently. or run, or jump. my 1080s seriously are more comfortable than my street shoes. they actually directly helped my balance. your boots will affect your stance and your stance is very important. choose your boot wisely and dont be afraid to spend 3 or 400 on em.
