Its shitty for people who aren't from there tho, for example, i went to winter park a week ago or so and we couldn't hit the big jumps and the biggest rails because they were only open to people who bought a 30 dollar season pass for the "dark territory". All tho it could all be solved by having day passes being offered too.
Our mountain has that, for 10$ you get access to THE park. It's good because its money that goes into the park and it keeps gapers away. Only problem is, when people come and visit they have to have the 10$ pass or they cant ride the park.
ya beaver valley has one. its kinda stupid because i doesnt keep anyone out of the park, all the 5 year olds just get thier parents to buy them passes. and no one remembers the rules on the test and stuff
it was pretty annoying at stratton because we had to watch a video for like 15 minutes and it was really gay and repettitive, i mean it deffinetly cuts down on the gaper factor in the parks but it was kind of a waste of time. i deffinetly would like it at my home mtn though if itwas only a one time thing per season.
