seth pistols on groomed?

hey, i may have the oppurtunity to start riding for a local shop, and I could get the seth pistols (probably 169), or some fischer things. I'm just wondering how the pistols handle on groomed/park terrain, because i don't ski much powder. thanks

These things make me mad. COC session C.

really, if you are good enough to ride for a shop you should be able to handle them on anything and wouldn't need any advice.

Regardless of what your skiing on, you should definatly get the pistols over the fischers

Why would you buy a ski designed primarily for powder when you rarely (if ever and by your own admission) ski powder? It has no bearing on how skilled you are (most pros have quivers), it is simply a question of what was the ski meant for.

Actually, a lot of the K2 pros ride Pistol's in the park.

^^That doesn't mean they ride them on courdoroy or in areas where the snow is shallow and hard.

if you are a good enough skiier, you should be able to ski on anything with any sticks... but more often than not people prefer not to use big sticks like the pistols on groomed runs and things of that sort... but im not one of those ppl... im gonna use my pistols on groomers and anything else in the east...

i think they are totally useless for anything besides powder.

why would you buy a big fat ass floaty ski, if all your gonna do is ski the park and the groomed?

pistols are the best groomer ski ive been on. they will dig 5 inch deep trenchs if you know how to power the ski
