I saw a picture of the pipe extremely long, can't wait to go over there and compete in it, the park looks dope too. any one want to say a little something about the park or pipe?

well two weeks ago they had a beautiful 70 foot jump.
i believe its gone.

pipe wasn't in very good shape back then

park is in good shape now. JO's are this week so it will be totally dialed in after that. the pipe comp will be fun, but there isn't much as far as prizes and money go.

here is all the info on the pipe comp:

Date: March 17, 2007 at 11am, Awards at 2pm

Where: Mavericks Terrain Park – Bashor Bowl

Event: Men’s & Women’s Snowboard Superpipe
Men’s & Women’s Skier Superpipe

Eligibility: Open Competition

Registration: Pre-register by contacting Sara Ferris

sferris@steamboat.com or #970-871-5472

Entry Cost: $15 Entry Fee (Cash or Check Only)

Race Format: Competitors will be judged on overall impression, trick difficultly, execution and amplitude. Each competitor will get one practice run & two scored runs. There will be two heats of competitors. Helmets are required.

DJ: DJ Also Starring

Prizes: 1st Place - $300, Snowboard/Skis, Smartwool: Hat, Midweight Crew & Bottom, Gloves & Socks, Rossignol Bag, LL Bean Jacket & Swag.

2nd Place - $150, Bindings/Poles, Smartwool: Hat, Midweight Crew & Bottom, Gloves & Socks, Rossignol Bag and LL Bean Jacket.

3rd Place - $50, Smartwool: Hat, Midweight Crew & Bottom, Gloves & Socks and Rossignol Bag.

Awards Ceremony: 2:30pm Gondola Square

Concert: 3pm Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free Concert featuring Sister Hazel

Schedule: 8am – 9:30am Registration in the LOFT
9:30am – 10:30am Practice Runs
11am-2:00pm Competition
Heat 1: Women’s Snowboarding & Women’s Skiing
Heat 2: Men’s Snowboarding & Men’s Skiing
2:30pm Awards Ceremony Gondola Square
3:00pm BLRTB Concert – Sister Hazel
