Flying with ski gear on northwest.
im flying to colorado tomorrow and i have a bag of cloths,a boot bag, and my skis in a bag. im flying northwest and looked on there website and it kinda claimed that a ski bag and a boot bag counted as one. i got confused. so i called my friend whos going with me and is dad tried to tell me that they dont count skis. does anyone with expeirance know what the deal is??? anyhelp would be awesome!
Just jampack your skibag. They don't check size or weight.
no its true...technically your skis and your boot bag count as "1" bag. they shouldnt give you any shit.

i just got back from colorado today, and i flew northwest. all airlines are gay about bags and stuff, so i bet they will count it as two. and they do care about weight, if its above 50 pounds it is 50 dollars extra. and those fags at northwest made me lose a ski day by losing my bags on the way out.
alright cool. i dont wanna get hassled at the airport and have to pay 80 bucks for an extra bag
thats a whole day of lft tix at breck!
i hear that they dont let you bring anything other then skis and poles in your ski bag, and make sure you check in early so that it gets on the plane
no problems with me a few weeks ago, i packed my ski bag full
If youre worried just ducttape your boot bag to the ski bag and make a super bag
