not really all that much it just affects the life of the ski... just fill in the skis with ptex

If they're core shots you'll need to get a base weld unless you like picking out ptex and refilling the holes every week or two. They aren't really bad for the ski, but they're not good either and will dramatically decrease the value of your skis.

yea like everyone else said, if you can see wood or fiberglass or anything that isn't the base material then take them to a shop and have them fix it up for you cuz you dont want water to get into your core. otherwise you wont even notice when you're skiing they have less affect than you'd think.

if your skies have a wood core then the core shot lets water in and your skies get really soft.

I have to cut off pieces that get shaved back from rocks and shit (urban shitsticks) but no core shots, no matter how many rocks I land on.
