if line doesnt makle it, they will most deffinatly sell the idea to somebody like look for them to use. so although it might not be lines binding, there will be one essentially the same

If they're just giving up on them, that was such a waste of money. I heard they didn't change their graphics because they spent so much on the Reactors (the bindings).

i heard that they were gonna make a plate to make their bindings compatible with other skis. I think you may be wrong. DJExtreme said that and he seems to know whats going on with line.

with the amount of money they've blown on the binding i'm sure they're just going to continue to tweak it and not put it back out to the public till it actually works. they don't need to keep issuing tons of warranties with those every year on top of the skis.

I can't say for sure if they'll be finished, but my friend who runs a ski shop ordered a bunch i think for the next season, he talked to the reps and people and they said that they should be ok, but then again they also said that last year, but also a kid at my mountain was skiing on them the last 2 days of the season

Line tried to make that binding light by using flimsy material, and the turned out too heavy anyway. Those binding gave the skier no feel, they were great if all you did was hit tables and shit but for people who make turns they were weak

why not marker, marker makes the best bindings on the market today. there the only company that servives selling bindings only. i would love to see Line try that. Another thing that really tweaks me is that the idea of the line binding started years ago, buy a man who used to work for marker. he patented that idea, and then went around to all the major binding companys and tried to sell it, yet no one would buy it but line, a company that is starving to try and get back into the market. now if a binding is not good enough for marker, look/ rossi, salomon, atomic, and tyrolia, then its not good enough for me. and on top of that they weigh a fucking metric ton. Every time i have seen that binding i shudder, cause i know someone is going to get hurt. If you work with bindings enough, you would relize that this thing is going to have flaws. and for anyone who does work in a shop, put the binding on a automated binding test machine and crank up the dins, you get some funky results.

I also agree with ski bum, the line binding give you almost no edge feel, and it feels as if the binding were not even connected to the ski.

I have worked in the ski industry for the last 7 years, Ill give you that Line bindings suck. But, marker's are a joke. Have you ever heard the term 'marker out your binding'? It comes from the fact that you have to crank marker's DINs the whole way up and jam the forward pressure to stay in a Marker binding.

I hate to be the bearer or bad news, but Markers really do suck. I've been through 4 sets of their 'freestyle' bindings because they can't take any impact at all. I've shattered more brakes than you can imagine, and one out of every two times I destroy the brakes, the entire back half of the binding gets bent up from my skis. It's a good thing my local shop will fix 'em for free or I'd be real pissed. It sucked though because I broke them at the Burlington Rail Jam and had to ski with them dangerously loose.

well i will tell you what marker bindings are the shit i have not found another binding out there that can take the shit i threw at them. not once did they ever pop off on meunless they should have and i dont have them cranked. of course i have one of their top racing models,. and i ski in michigan where every landing is a god damn sheet of ice, if they can handle those shitty conditions they can handle any thing

nobody should be fighting about what bindings are better. theres no ultimate binding, its all a matter of opinion. everybody rides a little different right? so mabye a binding is good for one person and shitty for another. this isnt a debate on bindings its a discussion on the fact that line will not be releasing thier binding next year. i hope they dont just abandon the idea completely cuz its a good concept but it needs some serious redesigning. they shouls start over from the ground up and dont even make it a one piece binding. keep it simple and straightforeard and stick to the concept. the thing is so complicated looking and that inboard retention system is a joke, thats where all the complications and weight come from. i hope they make some serious changes.

good god, Markers do suck and they guy with the poorly done red bull icon is an idiot. Marker isnt surviving only on bindings, they're owned by Volkl/Technica.
