do you think they are gay? if so why? i wear one, its saved my ass a couple times, i've broken 8 bones skiing, so i'll take any protection i can get

Helmets dont look that bad, so they are worth it, if you dont wanna where one thats cool but i like havin mine on, my friend cracked his in the pipe to years ago and got a major concussion, but the ski patrol and doctors said he would have died or been retarded if he didnt have it on, so thats enough incentive for me to wear one

hey, little_freerider, you can try not falling..... and wvwn if your gonna fall why would you fall on your head..... whoever goes upside down can handle the consequences if there not ready..... as for me im comfortale with all my tricks i do so i dont fall much... you can ask anyo of the kids i ski with.... they dont fall either becuase if they know they cant do a trick to the point where there gonna have blood comming out of there ear the prolly wont try it.......

Cruz mentioned something about deceleration concussions that aren't caused by hitting your melon. He's right, they do occur. But with a tight fitting helmet (maybe it even pushes on your temples a little), you can avoid a lot of this.

after a serious impact you should really buy a new helmet. Most are only gauranteed or whatever for 1 serious impact.

They really do help on rails though, the plastic on plastic hurts a little less than plastic on skull

hahaha...i have clearly underestimated the greatness of RS4LIFE, everyone bow down to him, he cant fall...but i wouldnt either if i was only doing twisters and daffys...i wear a helmet because i like to throw new stuff, fall, then make it better until i get it good...that is called pro-gress-ion. I am just happy that when i fall trying a new trick, my head dont go splat...but lets just let RS4LIFE not wear a helmet, and then he can die when he falls...

rs4life or whatver your name is, you never fall? even when you try new tricks, you stick them first try? or is it because pain isnt anything to you? this year i banged my head because i did a 180 and landed too back seat, so my skis shot me on my ass and my head wipped back and i strained te muscles in my neck.

thanks.... this guy askes questions isntead of trying to make fun of me.... if you have something to tell me jsut personal message me or sompthing.... dont tell me to re learn how to say my ABC's.... and no i dont normally fall becuase i am a good overall skiier and my landings are good.... i fall on rails somtimes.... i have more control them most people.... and if you think about if you throw a trick good you wont fall..... and if you do you didnt throw it good enough..... its not like im lying about never falling.... ask anyone i ski with...

say whatever the fuck you want about helmets, but i'd be dead without one. i got a 3rd grade concussion with one this year, without it i would have died on the hill... so wear one, or fuck off.

I like helmets, they make you more confident, and they save your ass, Ive gotten two concussions while skiing with my helmet, and they would have been much worse without one. Helmets let you try stuff you normally wouldn't because you might die.

the one time i didn't wear a helmet was on my last run of the day, i was just gonna make a short run through the park and decided to hit a a table, ya, hit the lip a little too fast and popped a little too hard, i was tired i guess so i landed all funny...all i remember is hitting my head, and then i couldn't remember simple stuff like my phone number, it was wierd...anyways, my point is i wear a helmet all the time now...i think it kinda looks gay...but better gay than dead right?...o but i have this really cute beanie i always whip on when i take off my helmet..
