where would a good place for a good student go to in the East? I live in Pennsylvania and dont want to go too far. Im only a sophmore, but I should be able to get into a good college, would I end up just going to Canada or is there anywhere else that would be good?
go to a college where they have your major and you are going to have fun and be happy not just cuz you want to ski. college leads you to your future so take it serious
no dont go to college it sucks. you pay like 120k to get an "education" that doesnt even help you get a job. Ski for like 3 or 4 years and then join the military maybe to get some credentials.
btw i was just kidding about not going to college but if youre stupid enough to decide whether or not to go in the first place, you dont deserve to go.
dont do what I did... I went to NC because i didnt want to walk to class in the snow, and the girls were way hotter...problem is it takes me 3 hours to get to some slopes, and there are so many nubs there i get hit by ppl who cant stop at the bottom of the hill while i wait for the lift... i miss the north
First off, definitely go to college. Second, take it seriously. You have to consider much more than just skiing. Things like money, the kind of career you want, ect. So while I'd love to tell you to just go out west, the only one who can really decide on a college for you is (*gasp*) you. Do some research, talk to your family, think about what you want to do with your life. Then look at how skiing fits in.
Don't go to college near a ski town, thats what i tried to do when i moved to colorado, I ended up dropping out because skiing was to much of a distraction. I'm back in school now but only because i'm living in minnesota.
If you don't know what you want to do why waste the money? Do what I did and move to Vail and try a few different jobs that let you ski all day every day. It's not that hard to find. Plus then you can find what you really want to do for when you go to college.
I recomment U.N.GNAR where you earn your degree in shreducation, jibology, grabarts or even steezeneering. U.N.GNAR has progressive research into such fields as "momentum control for pretzels", "unatural arial awarness with grabs" and "outerwear trend forcasting" for upcoming seasons, so you can stay on top of your shit with the hottest threads. It's also conveniently located next to all the research and experiment labs in tahoe and close to mammoth as well. They all hold optional motivation and celebration gatherings in the 24 hour downtown zone for making the magic happen "outside the snow" Think collge.....think U.N.GNAR
no, College=Future.
Although I didnt get to ski as much as I would have liked(20-45 days a year). I graduate in May and will be moving out west to work for a ski resort. I will get to live in a nice apartment in a ski town, have a salary, NOT BE POOR and ski a good amount.
You have to GIVE to GET, go to college...make your mommy proud
plus you get to be completely irresponsible for 4 years, who wants full time job?!?!?!
