you can get one through yahoo for like 8.95. I'm not sure if thats a yearly rate though.

For just the domain, it really depends. You also have to get a server to host to. Sometimes companies do both. Yeah, the prices are anywhere from $20-50 USD depending on the company and what the domain you want is.
