I have a theory that the high pressure we've been suffering from this season is in fact caused by these gapers. While I'm still conducting more studies, it appears that their use of "fat skis" creates a headiness due to their newfound ability to ski powder. While a certain level of gnar gnar and self-righteousness is accepted by locals, theirs seems to escape into the atmosphere via the "goggle gap" or "gaper gap". This ego then forms a cloud over the area, splitting the storms before they even come near us. There was a similar study performed in Colorado, in the town of South Park, I believe.

With new passport laws in effect, it's not possible for these close-knit circles of gapers to perform their winter migration to Canada (called a "family vacay" by experts), so they have chosen to spread themselves throughout the West. To solve this, I think we have to follow the lead of our neighbors to the north.

Lets run 'dose hozers to the woods. More pilsners, eh?
