Has anyone here ever tried it? I just saw a commercial for it and I want to give it a shot sometime, especially for a groggy day at school.

5 hour energy is not that great. first of all, it tastes like concentrated shit. i know this cause i knew this girl who worked for the company/was sposored by it, and she gave us a full case of the stuff (about 500 bottles). it contains mostly vitamin b12 and niacin, my buddy took 7 of them, and just about died, its some crazy stuff. from my personal experience, it gives you energy, but takes away all of your concentration. ive tried using it for running races, and i couldnt keep my focus up to run fast. the best use i found for it was when i went skiing at 3:30am before school, i would take 2 bottles and a liter of mountain dew, and i wouldnt be tired until lunch, where i took 2 more, and cruised through the rest of the day. so, my conclusion, its good for partying, and staying awake, but not much else.

red bull has never left me feeling tired after drinking it, plus that shit its like liquid coke it seems.

Why not just snort a line.

Red Bull is still the best in my opinion. I drink two before I go skiing, one 10 minutes away from the mtn, another in the parking lot. And I am never without energy, and if I am tired after the day its because I just spent all day skiing the park hard.

Red bull is coke for me-I get soooooooooo wired it's insane. Then again I'm real little-caffeine (and alcohol for that matter) affects me greatly in small amounts.

That doesn't sound like it would help you stay awake... at all. That being said, sounds like a fucking blast haha.

If you really need to stay up it's all about Aderall, I fucking love that shit. Drink as much as you want and you'll puke up your liver before you pass out. Rail some before studying and you'll whip off essays like a machine. Yay is great, but far too expensive and pretty dirty. I've done my best to stay away from that shit recently. If you're just looking for a drink, it's all about Bawls. Tastes amazing and damn does it fire you up.

i fucking love 5 hour energy mainly cause i dont crash off it. red bull or for that matter anything like it i will crash after drinking it, 5 hour i dont which is nice. downfall. doesnt taste all that great but its not too bad cause its only 2 oz. its definately great for waking up real early and getting a quick boost or taking a long drive but most important would be to have it when you go out partying. add a redbull ontop of it and you may die but its amazing. hah.

steve why did you resurrect this thread. it is common knowledge that 5hour energy is actually just cat piss. it tastes terrible and makes you pee a lot. i took one the day of a ski race and peed i kid you not 11 times in four hours. and thats with a 20 minutes ski race somewhere in there. my ski coach was a rep so we pretty much got it when we wanted it. its terrible.

I have a perscription to Aderal and it actually works. It makes me pay attention to what is actually going on in the class and i dont really get distracted as easily. I dont take it i just sell it to kids that think its some crazy powerful drug when really all it does is keep you up. Its actually a good drug for kids with ADD

that stuff sucks ass, it tastes awful but thats not the worst part

it comes in a bottle that makes it very hard to down quickly. so u get to taste nastyness even longer.

I have developed the best method to long-lasting energy in the morning. you eat some whole grains, I generally make a peanutbutter sandwich on whole wheat. then you drink a nice cup of coffee. redbull doesnt do shit for me, just coffee is what you need. then drink a glass of juice. take b vitamins. and for an extra kick take 2 shots.

you are good to go. if u need to get yourself even more awake go stand out in the cold in your boxers while you do any of the aforementioned.

every person is diffrent. beacuase, when i drink coffee, it does nothing for me, but red bull will wake me up. complete opposte of you. beyond that, find what works for you and go with it
