could someone please explain why it doesnt snow in the finger lakes? every time i look on the fuckin dopplar radar, theres a gap from the west/lake shore to south of syracuse/binghampton area. theres no snow. fuckin pisses me off.
i dunno where the west lake or finger thing u describe of but i beleive lake effect only effects areas downwind of lakes that means pretty close to the actaul lake, STRONGER lake effect will go further.
haha well i know when i get snow, bristol barely gets any of that but i live in penfield (roch.)
long story short he overshot. tried to finger a girl wearing a skirt in the movies, but overshot and got the pooper. then proceeded to wipe the poopy finger on the friend next to him.
theres lots of water that evaporates from the water so there is a possibility for lots of snow, but then there's wind , which could blow it past you, and the fact that the lake is warmer than the rest of the land so the snow wouldn't be snow at all, it would be rain

ok if ur the county in the middle the reason it is not snowing is MOST of the moisture falls before u and then later i beleive there are small hills/mountains where the moisture rises and condenses and the nthe rest of it falls.
sorta makes sense, but i live in hill area, with alot of hills about 2000ft above sea level and the mountain is 2200 then it drops down and even south of cuse gets no higher than 1500 until the catskills, so the elevation thing is kinda wack. and the stuff coming off the lakes from the start is all snow, not rain
