same as lots of people said rails wreck skis fo sho but not the sport skiing is about doing what ever you want and freestyle just means theres no limit on what you want to do its not a trail where you have to carve a certain way its just whatever

Well we are fucusing too much on rails. yeah its a part of skiing, but there should be an equal emphasis on jumps.

i dont understand how rails would be wrecking skiing, but they do get pretty boring to watch after a while. There probably about two different slides that you can do on skis, just a normal railslide, and then that broken grind that rollerbladers do. Some people can make presses look good thats about it, theres deffinately more tricks on rails if you snowboard

nope, but there wrecking skis! but really, some people have to realize that theres more than park. in my opinion, you cant call yourself a skier unless you can ski it all.

I don't think rails are bad for skiing, but at teh same time, i feel, like many others do, that skiers should be more competent at a variety of skills. Being good at just rails or just jumps or just moguls does not make you a good skier. someone who can rip a bigmountin line in the morning, kill it in teh park after lunch and hold their own anywhere on piste (groomers to glades etc...)before the end of the day is a good skier
