I had to have surgery last year, they replaced my knee with a dual hinged device because everytime I slide broken, my knee is not only touching the rail, my skis are being held in the air and my knee is the prime sliding surface. I had some nasty knee injurys before I got this puppy.
nobody does brokens for a reason, and i dont need a list of the few people that do, aka gagnier, there not cool, u do a broken on, first, a rail, second, a urban then i might consider them to be only bi, and not fully gay. oh yeah third, go skate board instead, cuz it takes more than 2 tries to learn to grind something
you my friend are a fucking homo and a fucking noob. honestly im not a big fan of roller skates but to try and say that roller blading is a bad influence is fucking retarded there pretty similar. also who gives a fuck about it just ski. also i do brokens on rails so fuck it bitch. your a fucking idiot so go suck off pep fujas cause you both think alike. bitch
whoever is saying that inline grinds are easy needs to try... I thought they would be easily as well seeing as I am a pretty confident jibber, and I inlined all summer and could only do some small rails, nothing urbanish at all, its hella lot harder then it looks
i had no intention of showing disrespect to pep, but is it not true that he said that he hates the influence of roller blading, so then they both have the same ideas, and i think pep is a great skier so i didnt mean to target him, but looking back on my post i could see why people might get that idea. my bad
dude, you gotta respect pep and all for all he does for skiing, but when you publically call out gangier for doing beat , bitten, ugly tricks (compared it to a dog lifting up its leg to pee) thats not right. see skeeze from last year and that issue of freeskier where harvey goes over the x games slopestyle run.
as i see it now, charles is doing way more to progress skiing than pep is, and he probably doesnt give a shit if all you ignorant fucks out there cant at least accept that people are going to do new technical grind instead of pretzeling 18 times on a flatbar.
rollerblade influenced grinds are the future of rails in skiing. my prediction is that someone will bust out one of these grinds on camera.. felix rioux is gonna take a snap of it, its gonna be an ns cover, and then everybody is gonna jump on the bandwagon and think its cool. then we can all dig up these topics in the searchbar in 3 years when i happens and show everybody how stupid, closeminded and one dimensional we all were.
i really encourage all you skateboarders out there to try on a pair of in line skate and slide a rail when its 110 degrees in july. all of the sudden you are gonna get all giddy inside because you can almost picture yourself sliding that rail on skis.
ive givent his rant a dozen times on ns and i hope i dont have to do it anymore.
your egoing to have to.
but maybe instead, you should just nod and smile and giver!
most of the haters on here cant shred anyways.
I dont know anything about inline, nor do i care.
but i know that if you can make something thats stripped from somewhere else... you problee rip.
nice pics dooders.
but i still dont speak spanish.
i don't get why people hate on other peoples' styles, who cares if its not what you like, everyone is entitled to an opinion, just because you don't like something it doesn't make it "gay" or retarded, just look at it for what it is, a different style
"I'm embarassed...i really thought i could feel it"
"Would you like to got black and make the tough decision weather or not to go back?"
"you should of stripped completley naked stood next to them with your hand out asking to be tagged in."
ok, i dont like brokens all that much cuase there not really that hard on boxes wich is the only place ive seen them. BUT i think it would dope to see one on a down rail or urban also after a 270 on or somthing that would be cool too
no way, pep is so progressive in the BC. definitely a leader. gagniers got that rail thing on lock, but no one lands switch in pow like pep fujas, which is the future of skiing, IMO. brokens aren't something that will ever define skiing the way that throwing down off of cliffs will.
the main reason i like them is because this kid from my town actually two of the do the sickest brokens. pat cowan does the sickest 270 on broken to rail i have ever seen, acutally he is the only person i have ever seen do them. there so broken it looks like he is dislocating his hip, thats not an exageration either.
