ok so i just got new 07 salomon foils 166. I dont have bindings for them yet and im not sure were to mount them. I currently have the 04/05 salomon 1080, 161 (green) and i lovee the ski. Im very comfortable on them but they are terrible now for skiing anything but park. They are not mounted true center and are back alittle bit. They are pretty light and i like that alot. Sometimes i feel that having a true centered ski would help on rails but i donno. I feel like sometimes i jump on alittle off center because of it but im not sure if thats why.
With these new foils though, im not sure what i should do. Should i center mount them and use them mainly for park? Im worried that they could be heavy though. Im 5,6 and 130Ibs. Or should i do like 2cm back from true center and use them more for when im not in the park and keep the 1080s for mainly park stuff or vise versa. Any imput on which would be better for park with how tall and how much i weigh and stuff would be lovely

I would mount the foils at suggested and use them for all mountain and some park, and then remount your 1080's at center and use them for urban jibbing or days when you feel you want a true centered ski
