i just got a pair of head mojo boots, there sick and all but i wana make them softer. to do it i know you have to remove something from the back of the boot. can someone help me out??
Most boots have a a section on the heel side of the boot that can be cut out. Any competent shop tech would be able to grind it out for you. I'm almost positive this voids warranty and on top of that it's irreversible.
nah i had those boots last year in the back of the boot there should be two screws, above the heel. take one of them out and replace it with the plastic stopper you should have aquired from the boots. after that the boot becomes from a 95 flex to an 85 (head boot scale). enjoy
Yeah, take the top one out to soften it slightly and both out to soften it even more. The plugs are just to seal out water so just duct tape the inside if you can't get them. If you need it even softer, take it to a shop and get a V cut out of the back.
how do you find the boots? im thinking of investing once i can find a pair to fit on. what other boots have you skied before, how do they compare?
cheers
