ahh yes, the oh so common (and incredibly pleasant) "I go to UVM so I'm better than you" attitude that accompanies so many students who got into UVM but couldn't get into a real Ivy league school. So refreshing to hear it again.

UVM isnt even close to being considered as a potential candidate to be elected as a school that gets compared to an ivy league school. UVM isnt really that good.

"The University of Vermont is in a time of both transition and great success. The administration has aspirations which would lead UVM back to the days of "Public Ivy" status and once again find its place among the top institutions of higher education in America. President Fogel at his convocation address specifically mentioned UVM's need to "walk the walk" when is comes to issues of social and economic justice. However, currently this is not a reality."
THAT is what I've been referring to, and I assumed (poor assumption apparently) that other people realized this.

Thats fucking hilarious. UVM doesnt have a reputation anything like that...its way more pathetic. Its typically regarded as a stoner school, full of greenpeace, earthday activists. Dont ever mention 'Ivy' and 'UVM' in the same sentance again, ummmmkay?
