Help with Tramp

so I know there have been a million posts before, but I want specific help :D I just got a tramp (woohoo), looking for some tips to help start. For example, when I invert I go really far forward, like on front flips. Any recommendations, or just practice makes perfect?

practice. start easy, spins, grabs, etc. learn to bounce off dif parts of your body. and simply practice. commit to anything you do. if you half ass it, you will land on your head. etc have fun

do your best to jump strait up and down. the reason your flying forward is because of the way you're leaning when u take off from the tramp. you'll get used to it, but dont fall off. it hurts. it will become a bad habbit if u keep launching urself forward. think strait up, strait down. it looks better too.

once u can ski midwest dirt and grass, you can call yourself good

hahahaha Andy_De_Cum is tryin to talk shit...leave the fucking kid alone....the first flip i learned on my tramp was a misty and eventually you'll get bored doing the same trick so just throw it a little less inverted or more inverted and just work off of that...eventually you'll thro some bios, flats, and licoln loops

most common mistake when just starting tramp is jumping from the edge thinkin u will fall of if u jump from the middle. your best bet is to jump from the center and like everyone sed, jump, then as your feet are leaving the ground flip, or spin, or both

thanks for those that provided good tips. It helped a lot actually. I did my first session on the tramp today. Got down backs and lincolns, fronts are a little sketchier and damn corks are hard. Thanks all and peace

I broke my leg doing a backflip and landing on the bar of a trampoline because I began to travel before I was in the air. Bounce, then when you're nearly at the peak of your jump actually flip.


Would you like freedom fries with that?

Yeah, dont throw until you leave the mat. Also, everything is based on leading with your head. Backs you look backward, front tuck your head in, lincons keep your head tipped to the side, mistys and corks turn your head as far as you can in the direction your spinning. It makes everything so much easier.
